At Juniper, we never stop learning! Recently, three licensed practical nurses from Juniper Village at Brookline’s Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation building expanded their professional skill set by earning their IV certification.
Juniper coordinated with Omnicare of Williamsport to provide this intense two-day training. Congratulations to Patty Specht, Alicia Wrye, and Lana Peters for achieving this special certification that will allow them to administer intravenous injections and transfusions.
“Being IV certified empowers our nurses to provide that extra layer of clinical expertise and deliver a personalized approach for our residents,” said Mary Whitlock, Director of Wellness. “This is very exciting for our community and we look forward to sending another group of LPNs for IV certification in July.”
