We are incredibly thankful to report that our Juniper Village at Naples staff, residents, families, and dogs all made it safely through the storm.
If you have been following these posts, you know that our Naples family was sheltered at Autumn Leaves Memory Care in Estero. We cannot properly express our gratitude to them for opening their doors to us. As the song says “we are family”!
And now for the recovery process. This morning we will be attempting to get our environmental services team on-site at our Naples community to assess the damage. We are able to get vehicles out on the road, the challenge will be reaching the community. Also we will need to allow public service teams and emergency personnel to survey damage and begin clean-up of infrastructure.
At this time, our hope is that our Naples building will have successfully weathered the storm and that we will be able to begin returning our residents to the community later this week. However should the building not be immediately habitable, we will be able to remain at Autumn Leaves until we have a longer-term plan. Please stay tuned here for updates as they become available.
As soon as the roads and airports open, Juniper “B” teams will be coming to relieve the team who has stayed on-site for the long ordeal. We will continue to update you regularly. Please continue to send your thoughts and prayers throughout the coming days!
