September is National Pain Awareness Month, geared toward raising public discussion about pain management and related issues. In recognition of this, Juniper Village at Brookline was pleased to host Dr. Gregory Billy from Penn State Health for a special dinner and discussion.
Dr. Billy shared his insight on effective pain management and developments in the field. The lecture finished with an open discussion, in which Dr. Billy took the time to thoughtfully answer questions from the engaged audience.
Dr. Billy is a board-certified physiatrist with subspecialties in sports medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine, and pain medicine. He sees community patients at Penn State Sports Medicine in State College and also serves as a team physician for Penn State Athletics. Additionally, Dr. Billy serves as an Associate Professor at the University.
